Conventa has become a leading market for meetings industry in Southeastern Europe.
»Conventa in its fifth edition is a big achievement for the region of South East Europe,« says the Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau and Exhibition Director of Conventa, Miha Kovacic.

»This is still a young industry and we are aware of the need to educate the industry, both the suppliers as well as the professional conference organisers, on international expectations and standards.« said Kovacic.
In the past five years the meetings industry exhibition has welcomed 1,190 hosted buyers from 36 European countries and 616 meeting industry providers from 11 SEE countries as exhibitors.
»I feel like Conventa was a baby when we first launched the exhibition five years ago,« told the Congress Manager for Ljubljana Convention Bureau, Tatjana Radovic. »And now it is child standing on its own feet. It will be interesting to watch it grow up in the future and see what opportunities it will offer to the SEE meetings industry.«
