Number of participants: 1000 participants
Content: the organizer, AMZS – Automobile Association of Slovenia, hosted young cyclists from 21 European countries. The ETEC (European Traffic Education Contest) is an idea and movement that has been implementing the ambition that the first independent “steps” of young people should be as safe as possible for more than 20 years. The European Education Contest brings another important message to young people from all corners of Europe, namely that participation in traffic is safe and pleasant only when participants are tolerant and cultural.
Teams of young cyclists train for several months and then pick the best cyclists on local, regional and national competitions, where every participating automobile association selects its team consisting of two girls and two boys aged between 10 and 12. The children then compete at the final event.
