»Did you attend the Louis Armstrong concert?«
»Of course. He came by plane from Zagreb. Ljubljana did have an airport back then, but only for domestic flights, there were no international flights. His plane had a delay. We had been waiting for him at the Ljubljana Convention and Exhibition Centre for three or four hours, until midnight. A close friend from my childhood, Janez Čuk, was the announcer and he came to the stage every 30 minutes to cheer us up. Louis Armstrong finally came and the concert was outstanding.«
