The 46th Nature-Health Fair with healthy lifestyle contents presented by 288 companies from 21 countries attracted the same number of visitors as last year - 24,000. We did expect some more, but beautiful weather and the beginning of the Feast of St. Martin diverted them elsewhere.

The 34th annual congress ESRA, which was held at the GR – Ljubljana Convention and Exhibition Centre, organized by the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy and Kenes International, hosted 1400 participants from the whole world, and they left Ljubljana satisfied with the contents as well as organization of the event. This was another global congress of the year in Slovenia hosted by the GR – Ljubljana Convention and Exhibition Centre.

From 17 to 22 August, the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre hosted Lepton Photon 2015, the 27th International Conference of High Energy Physics. The lecture by the renowned Prof. Alan Guth about the inflationary universe and, consequently, parallel universes raised particular attention.

The award-winning 1001 Inventions exhibition at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (Gospodarsko razstavišče) is extended until the end of September. Visitors to this exhibition are introduced to an exciting, but under-appreciated, era in the history of science known as “The Golden Age of Muslim Civilization”.

The AIPC Innovation Award reflects AIPC’s mission of “Encouraging and recognizing excellence in convention centre management”. It is made for projects or initiatives that represent “innovation” in the true sense of the word; that is, the development of a new, more creative or more effective approach to any aspect of convention centre management, operations or marketing.

On 22 and 23 April, celebrating the World's Earth Day, the GR - Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre hosted the traditional international Eco Conference with distinguished guests organized by Planet Earth Society. As every year, the GR - Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is one of its partners.

The Home Fair, the biggest international fair for building and construction, not only in Slovenia but also in its surroundings in bordering countries, will take place from 10 – 15 March.

The current numbers show promising results and indicate that the seventh Conventa will be the best one yet. From 21 to 22 January 2015 organizers expect more congress destinations than ever to be presented at the trade show. Organizers are sticking to the strict cretirea and confirming only serious meeting planners with great interest in New Europe. Last edition hosted meeting planners from 25 different countries, the upcoming Conventa will host more than 90 percent new buyers coming from 33 different countries.

The Heavenly Worlds of Salvador Dali exhibition at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre brings together more than 240 works of Salvador Dali, lithography engravings and plastic for every generation. The event also introduces the process and steps needed in creating art. Salvador Dali is definitely the name most people recognise within the classics of the modern art.
