Mobile App for Hiking and Biking
Organizer: Monolit d.o.o.
The event is part of the Natour Conference.

The mobile platform Monolit2go is a flexible tool for using topographic data and can be used on mobile devices as well as integrated on web pages. It is a unique platform for presenting touristic, hiking, biking or other routes and trails. Currently the platform offers data for entire Slovenia and includes more than 2,500 routes. The platform can be adjusted for different purposes. We have already collaborated with Tourist office in Laško, Rimske Toplice and Thermana Laško and developed a mobile app Laško2go that promotes their destination. Last year the app Slovenia Trails was developed in cooperation with Hiking&Biking GIZ.
The guide includes over 200 hiking and biking trails and data about special destinations and accommodations for hikers and bikers that are members of Slovenian Hiking and Biking Association. Monolit2go platform contains:

  • More than 2,500 different trails
  • Different difficulty levels
  • Trails suitable for hikers and bikers equipped with descriptions
  • A detailed topographic map of the selected route
  • Interesting locations as: tourist attractions, mountain huts, places to eat and sleep
