Launch of the solar power plant at GR Ljubljana Congress and Convention Centre

On 16 August, a solar power plant was launched at GR Ljubljana Congress and Convention Centre, marking an important step towards more sustainable energy solutions.

With this new addition, the venue has taken a significant step towards greater energy self-sufficiency and a reduced carbon footprint. In its very first week of operation, the solar power plant helped reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 3.5 tonnes, representing an estimated saving equivalent to around 100 trees.

The project reflects the venue’s commitment to responsible resource management and the integration of sustainable solutions into its day-to-day operations. At a time when energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact are becoming increasingly important, the launch of the solar power plant represents a concrete step towards a more sustainable future.
