| The Slovene fair and business environment had long needed a fair in the field of gastronomy and catering equipment very. The successful performance of the fair GASTexpo filled this gap in 2007. In its first year the fair offered an exceptionally efficient international business opportunity to the exhibitors and business visitors. |

The fair is strictly specialized. It offers business opportunities to the exhibitors and visitors in the space it covers – markets of Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, countries of the former Yugoslavia and other potential markets. |
In 2007, 166 exhibitors participated in the fair – there were 118 direct exhibitors (88 domestic and 30 foreign) and 48 were represented (mostly foreign). The majority of exhibitors were exceptionally satisfied with the effects on their business. |
The fair is aimed at professionals (in 2007 there were 7,000), who have free entrance when presenting their invitation. All domestic and a substantial number of foreign experts from the field of the fair’s activity are invited. |
