Registration for exhibitors

Dear exhibitors,

this year we have decided to revive the International Electronics Fair at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre and honor its 50-year tradition.

The response of exhibitors to the Electronics Fair was excellent and well prepared. We have received much praise for our event and the organization committee decided to make it an annual event and develop the fair into an attractive and thought inspiring meeting ground for business, professional and scientific communities.

We have received a number of positive responses to the Day of Technology, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia – Electronics and Mechatronics Section headed by Janez Škrlec, member of the Science and Technology Council, and for the exceptional lectures held by top Slovene Scientists, Prof. Dr. Marija Kosec, IJS (Electronic Ceramics and New Smart Materials), Doc. Dr. Maja Remškar, IJS (Nanotubes and Nanotechnology Safety), Doc. Dr. Iztok Kramberger, FERI - UM (Computer Sight), Prof. Dr. Slavko Amon, FE - University of Ljubljana (Microstructures and MEMS) an– particularly the lecture of Prof. Dr. Marko Mikuž, who shed some light on the hadron collider at CERN - a new landmark in understanding nature.

In short, we as organizers shall continue to strive towards making the Electronics Fair the most important event of its kind in Slovenia, to assure international participation and develop an event into an experience of cooperation between science and the economy and provide an opportunity for companies – exhibitors and scientific facilities to present their results and research. The next Electronics Fair will take place at

The Ljubljana Exhibition and Congress Centre from March 24 to 26 2009.

We intend to expand our core public of companies and manufacturers of electronic components, intelligent materials, automatization systems, robotics, the energy sector, computer services and equipment and mobile operators with societies, associations, scientific and academic institutions which will be invited to take part not only in the exhibitions, but also in the educational accompanying events. The Day of Technology will become an integral part of the Electronics Fair.

Along with the Electronics Fair, which enjoys full support of the Electrotechnics Society of Slovenia and the Slovene Intelligent Transport Systems Society, the Exhibition and Congress Centre will also host ISEP, the 17th international symposium on electronics in traffic. The Electronics Fair is supported also by SIZ (Slovenian Society of Engineers) and the Inženir magazine.

Event organizers are united in the wish to see the next Electronics Fair become even more prestigious and renowned, so we wish to see exhibitors find business opportunities at the event and return each year in ever greater numbers.
