Fairs
Imagine arriving in Ljubljana – a lively junction not only of four Slovene regions but the most important commercial paths of all four sides of Europe – on the river Ljubljanica, the ancient artery that once kept the town alive with a lively hustle and bustle of shoemakers, weavers, army surgeons, potters, stonecutters, joiners and others.
Today Ljubljana is an
easily accessible important European commercial, business, congress and fair centre, as well as the transport, scientific and educational centre of Slovenia.
The first annual fair was recorded in 1416 and
since 1955 Ljubljana has been proud of its rich and dynamic
tradition of fair services; in the centre of the town – at Gospodarsko razstavišče there are one of the biggest exhibition premises in Slovenia with
12,000 square metres; where a kind of crazy modern Hannibal could exhibit as many as 3,333 elephants!
Our
fair events attract around
200,000 visitors every year.
Would you like to attract them with your company, too? Would you like to spread or upgrade your activity from the first draft to the final fine-tuning, as well as additional services together with us? Come, you shall return and become a part of our tradition!
